We are pleased to present our current Lindholm Scholar from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio for 2011.

Each year Holy Cross sponsors a student or students at Trinity with funds pledged to the Lindholm Scholarship Fund by our members. The Lindholm Scholarship fund was created to aid the education of Lutheran ministers. We are glad to be an active contributor to this worthy cause.

Trinity Lutheran Seminary was formed in 1978 as a consolidation of Evangelical Lutheran Theological Seminary (ALC, founded 1830) and Hamma School of Theology (LCA, founded 1845). The seminary is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools and the North Central Association. With Methodist and Roman Catholic seminaries, it is a member of the Theological Consortium of Greater Columbus.

Our Trinity Lutheran Seminarian for 2011...

On a recent sojourn to Columbus, Pastor Dana met Rheanna Goodrich, who is receiving support from Holy Cross for her seminary education.  Rheanna is from Michigan. She and her husband had a baby girl in January.  Rheanna graduates this spring and expressed deep gratitude for the assistance we are providing.

At Right in 2005:

We were pleased to welcome the Rev. Dr. Mark Ramseth of Trinity Seminary, in Columbus, OH along with two of our Lindholm Scholars - seminarians Shelly Klingensmith and Amber Waugaman. They participated in the service on Sunday, October 16th, 2005. Dr. Ramseth preached the sermon and thanked the members of Holy Cross for supporting our three seminarians.
